Tutoring & Teaching
We offer tutoring and teaching for a number of technology related subjects.
For most people, a hands on approach tends to yield results, both quicker, and that are retained longer. We want you to spend time working with the apps you'll be using frequently. Whether it's just the basics of computing when you're a beginner, or if you're looking to get a better grasp on working with the photos or video you're shooting on that new camera or camcorder, we want to tailor personal, one on one time to help you get the most out of the time you spend doing work or being creative.

Some of the areas we can help you learn are: Computer basics (think of it as Windows or Mac 101); using the internet, email, messaging, and avoiding the pitfalls and the malicious code hiding out there in today's internet; working with digital photos and video; learning web design; handling your hardware : don't let it hold you hostage.

Our hourly rate for personal tutoring is $99 per hour. Additionally, for our residential clients, we offer a discount of $10 per hour off our standard labor rate for Senior Citizens (65 & older) and for UC Davis students with a valid Student ID card. We also hold classes from time to time, when there are requests for a setting where a group dynamic makes sense. This can also potentially be more financially beneficial when there are several people in a session, bringing down the cost per person.
